The Washington Street Association Board has proposed a revised version of the Association’s Bylaws for member review and consideration. These updates build upon the simplified structure adopted last year while addressing several operational changes identified during the past year.
Key proposed changes include the reintroduction of President and Vice President positions, which would be elected annually by the Board from among seated Board members. Board members themselves would continue to be elected by the General Membership. The proposed revisions also clarify quorum requirements, allow the Board to fill vacancies that occur mid-year, and formally define the WSA membership area to include Washington Street, North Terrace, South Terrace, Prospect Square, and Brooke Avenue.
Members are encouraged to review the full proposed document, available for download below. As always, we welcome member feedback and participation as we continue working to strengthen and simplify the operations of the Association.
